The Southern Conservation Trust (SCT) is a nonprofit organization based in Fayette County, Georgia, dedicated to conserving and protecting natural spaces across the Southeast. SCT manages over 70 public and private conservation projects, including parks, trails, and wildlife habitats, with a strong focus on land stewardship, environmental education, and community access to nature. - Help remove plants that threaten native ecosystems
- Habitat support
- Build wildlife habitats like bee hotels, bat boxes, or turtle enclosures
- Animal enclosure maintenance
- Assist in caring for animal habitats at their Nature Center
- Gardening & landscaping
- Help beautify parks and pollinator gardens
- Educational support
- Assist with nature education programs and community events
