More Information: The Southern Conservation Trust (SCT) is a nonprofit organization based in Fayette County, Georgia, dedicated to conserving and protecting natural spaces across the Southeast. SCT manages over 70 public and private conservation projects, including parks, trails, and wildlife habitats, with a strong focus on land stewardship, environmental education, and community access to nature. Through hands-on volunteer opportunities, SCT engages individuals and groups in activities like trail maintenance, invasive species removal, gardening, and habitat restoration—empowering communities to actively participate in environmental preservation while learning about the ecosystems they help protect. https://www.sctlandtrust.org/volunteer Typical Responsibilities:
